Zerodha started in 2010 with a simple idea: broking in India was too expensive and complicated. We introduced flat-fee pricing and built our own trading platforms, helping make discount broking the norm across the industry. Today, we're one of India's largest brokerages, with over 1.8 crore customers. We've built Kite for trading and investing, Console for reporting, Coin for direct mutual funds, and Varsity for learning about the markets. Through Rainmatter, we back startups in fintech, health, climate, and deep tech, while Rainmatter Foundation supports work on climate and environment. We've never advertised or had a sales team.
