Movies Produced by Dev Entertainment Ventures

The company's filmography has expanded significantly since its early years.

Chaamp

Chaamp marked the company's debut feature-film production. Dev Entertainment Ventures describes it as an inspirational film built around boxing.

It was an important project for the production house because it established DEV's identity as an independent Bengali filmmaking banner.

Cockpit

Cockpit followed Chaamp and moved into the aviation-thriller genre. The company describes the movie as being inspired by a real airplane incident.

The movie has also developed a substantial digital audience, including through its Hindi-dubbed release on the company's YouTube channel.

Kabir

Kabir represented another shift in genre. Dev Entertainment Ventures describes the film as exploring subjects surrounding terrorism, war and peaceful coexistence.

Together, Chaamp, Cockpit and Kabir illustrate the company's early strategy of moving between substantially different stories rather than remaining within one film genre.

Tekka

Dev Entertainment Ventures was also the production company behind the Bengali film Tekka. India's Central Board of Film Certification records list Deepak Adhikari and Dev Entertainment Ventures Pvt. Ltd. in connection with the film, which received theatrical certification in October 2024.

Bengali Cinema and the DEV Brand

Dev Entertainment Ventures operates at the intersection of traditional Bengali filmmaking and digital entertainment.

Its films can range from mainstream commercial projects to stories dealing with more serious subjects. The company itself says it aims to combine scale and entertainment with experimentation while maintaining a connection to Bengal's cultural identity.

Its digital strategy is also significant. The company's professional profile specifically notes its use of social and digital media, including promotional videos, graphic campaigns and events designed to build interest around film releases.

This makes the YouTube channel an extension of the production company rather than simply a standalone entertainment channel.
