If your goal is to learn drawing from YouTube, Farjana Drawing Academy offers an enormous library to explore. Instead of concentrating on only one medium, viewers can discover different drawing and painting styles while following visually straightforward demonstrations.

2. Paintellectual PriyA

Paintellectual PriyA is an Indian artist and YouTube creator whose channel has grown to approximately 10.5 million subscribers and 12.6 billion total views across more than 800 videos. The channel was created in July 2020.

Her content takes a different approach from a conventional drawing-teaching channel. Painting remains at the center, but videos frequently combine art education, experiments, challenges and entertainment.

Viewers can find content involving acrylic paint, canvas, gouache, watercolor and a wide range of art supplies. One of her painting videos, for example, lists materials ranging from acrylic and gouache paints to watercolor, canvas boards, brushes and palette knives.

The channel has also covered beginner-oriented topics such as common mistakes in acrylic painting alongside more entertainment-driven concepts such as painting challenges. Short-form videos have become especially prominent in the channel's recent growth.

Best for: Painting · Acrylic painting · Art challenges · Creative experiments · Art supplies · Shorts

Why watch Paintellectual PriyA?

Paintellectual PriyA is a good choice for viewers who want painting inspiration as well as entertainment. Instead of simply teaching how to reproduce one picture, many videos turn the process of creating art into the main attraction.

Her content can therefore appeal both to people actively learning painting and viewers who simply enjoy watching unusual artistic ideas take shape.

3. Shivangi Sah

Shivangi Sah is another popular creator in the painting and creative-art space, with around 4.2 million subscribers based on the IndiTubeDb channel data shown above.

Best for: Painting · Creative art · Canvas projects · Art experiments · DIY creativity

Why watch Shivangi Sah?

Shivangi Sah is worth exploring if you enjoy the creative process itself. Her content fits viewers who want inspiration for experimenting with art rather than following only traditional classroom-style drawing lessons.

That gives her a somewhat different position from tutorial-heavy art channels and adds more variety to this list.

4. Sanju Arts

Sanju Arts is a Hindi-focused drawing and art channel with approximately 1.4 million subscribers, according to the IndiTubeDb channel data shown above.

The channel is a useful addition to the list for viewers interested in drawing, sketching and creative art content in Hindi.

Farjana's recent catalogue continues to cover drawing, painting, art hacks and mini paintings.

Choose Paintellectual PriyA if you're particularly interested in painting, acrylic art, materials, challenges and creative experiments. Her channel combines instructional ideas with highly visual entertainment and has developed an especially large short-form audience.

Explore Shivangi Sah if you enjoy creative painting projects and artistic experimentation, while Sanju Arts is worth checking out if you prefer Hindi drawing and sketching content.

What Can You Learn From Drawing and Painting YouTube Channels?

Painting and drawing channels can help beginners understand techniques that are much easier to grasp visually than through text alone.

You can explore topics such as how to draw step by step, pencil sketching, shading, painting for beginners, acrylic painting, watercolor, canvas painting, portraits, art hacks and creative painting ideas.

For example, Farjana Drawing Academy explicitly focuses on making drawing and painting easier to understand, while beginner-oriented material from the channel covers creative painting techniques and simple art ideas.

Paintellectual PriyA expands the experience into painting challenges and experiments. Her content has included acrylic-painting guidance, painting on unconventional surfaces, mandala-related art and experiments involving different materials.

That variety means viewers do not necessarily need to choose between learning art and watching art for entertainment—many modern creators combine both.

Drawing Tutorials vs Painting Channels: What Should Beginners Start With?

If you're completely new to art, basic drawing can be a practical starting point. Learning shapes, proportions, line control and shading can help build skills that transfer into other forms of visual art.

After becoming comfortable with drawing, you can experiment with watercolor, acrylics, gouache or canvas painting.

However, there is no requirement to master drawing before trying paint. Someone primarily interested in colors and painting can start directly with beginner painting tutorials.

The most important factor is choosing content that keeps you interested enough to practice regularly.
